The Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC) is ad­vising the public not to be deceived by Age Caregiving short courses offered by individuals and organisations around the country.

The Fiji Higher Education Commission (FHEC) is ad­vising the public not to be deceived by Age Caregiving short courses offered by individuals and organisations around the country.

The commission’s director, Dr Ro­hit Kishore explained that under the Fiji-Australia Vuvale Partner­ship, locals are given employment opportunities through the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme and the caregiving sector offers a very attractive package to qualified caregivers.

The recent demand for caregivers in Australia, has seen development of significant interest in our local people to pursue qualifications for this opportunity.
