Coke Games 2019: Cakacaka Wins Gold For Grammar
I knew I had the potential of winning gold but that strong competitive attitude in me made this possible.

Being aggressive and having a competitive attitude saw Suva Grammar School’s Senirewa Cakacaka won a gold medal in the sub junior girl’s discus event yesterday.
The Moce, Lau lass threw a distance of 23.76 metres followed by Joy Wise of Adi Cakobau School (23.63m) while Faith Kukusei of Jasper Williams High School finished third (22.36m).
Cakacaka said being motivated and to be aggressive made her push through the bars to achieve her goal.
“I knew I had the potential of winning gold but that strong competitive attitude in me made this possible,” she said.
“Despite the unfavourable weather condition I still managed to give my best. I thank my coach Jone Delai and my parents for always supporting me.
“My aim now is to go back and prepare myself well for next year and hopefully break the record in this event.”
