The Ravi Shekar-coached Cuvu team has roped in top football players for the 66th Rams Cleaning Services Sanatan Inter-District Championship which gets underway at Subrail Park, Labasa, today.
The players include Jashnil Vikash, Pravil Singh (Melbourne), Nadroga rep Romit Narayan, Ba rep Rahul Naresh, Sajneel Sharma, Ravinesh Dass (Lautoka) and Fiji FUTSAL goalie Ravinesh Kumar.
Team co-ordinator Nitulesh Mali said the side has joined forces with Nadroga Sanatan to give them a good chance to win the title.
“We have managed to rope in some district reps as we are travelling to Labasa so we’ve joined with Nadroga Sanatan,” he said.
The Care Chemist/Mali Pest Control sponsored side is in the same pool as Suva and Nabua.

The Rodicks Singh- coached Rewa side is the defending champions. The side has the services of district reps Ivan Kumar, Ravinesh Karan Singh, Delon Shankar, Nimish Prasad, and Shivam Shandil.

Sports Wing senior vice-president Salendra Nand said 22 teams would compete in the men’s Open category while there will be 10 teams in the Master’s division.
Nasinu will defend the Master’s title.
In the Open’s category, sees Ba taking on Sabeto at 8.30am, with the semi-finals and final scheduled for Monday.
