Delasau: Win is a Bonus for Us

Vinod Patel Ba senior men’s rugby head coach Vilimoni Delasau has applauded his side for a well-fought game against Macuata last Saturday.

Hosts Ba secured a bonus point win, 32-21, in their Skipper Cup match at Vinod Patel Park.

The former Flying Fijian legendary winger said the weather was an advantage for the men in black.

“We have been dreaming of this weather since the first game,” Delasau told SUNsports.

“We were playing in the mud all the time and now there is genuine weather to play rugby.

Delasau said their strength was playing as a team and less individual play despite copping a red and yellow card.

“We played as a unit and kept our composure.”

Ba will be hosted by Namosi at Thompson Park, Navua, on Saturday.
