Grammar, MGM take gold in Blue Ribbon event

As day one of the Coca-Cola Games came to a close yesterday, Paula Vonolagi of Suva Grammar School (SGS) and Lidia Waqairapoa of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) each claimed the Blue Ribbon event at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The official times will be released today. Banuve Tabakaucoro of MBHS still holds the 100m record of 10.4sec for the boys since 2011.

Makelesi Tumalevu of SGS still holds the record for the girls of 12.16sec since 2008. Younis Bese of Gospel High School equalled this in 2015.
