Naitasiri Secures An Apparel Deal With Axellerate

The Naitasiri Rugby Union yesterday received a boost when they signed up with Axellerate (Fiji) as their official apparel supplier marking the beginning of a solid relationship.

Union secretary Eparama Waqainoa said the partnership has taken off ground as they have engaged in opening up their network and creating a strong base of family members, fans and corporate supporters at different levels.

“This will ensure Naitasiri Rugby Union continues to be a strong force in the future, which will begin in round one where they face Yasawa,” Waqainoa said.

He added that the union has 11 players who are part of the current Drua squad members for the 2024 season.

“This includes the current coach for the Fiji Warriors and most importantly the current coach is an old player ensuring that same winning culture is there again in 2024.”

He added that they hope to lift the Skipper Cup under the captaincy of Asiveni Rokoua this year.

Naitasiri has lost about 14 key players from last season including Kini Douglas and Etonia Rokotuisawa who have secured rugby contracts abroad.

The side faces Yawasa today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
