Lautoka Masters retained their title for the third consecutive year defeating Manukau 1-0 in the final of the TIV Sangam IDC at Churchill Park, Lautoka yesterday.
The goal was scored by former national rep Salesh Sami in the 27th minute.
The Blues also had the services of Dinamani Mudaliar, Mohammed Saiyaz Aziz, Damedran Choy, and Arvind Nath.
Sami said: “This is our third title in a row. We have been playing well and the boys need to be commended for their effort.”
Manukau from New Zealand had the services of Michael Mudaliar, Ravinesh Naidu, Shiri Narayan and Navin Roy.
When this edition went to press, the Premier final was being played between Dreketi/Saweni and Valley.

In the Premier semifinal Dreketi/Saweni edged Tabucola 2-1 and Valley TIV beat Varoko 3-1.
In the Super Premier final, Nadi will play Lautoka.
In the semifinal, Nadi thrashed Botany 4-0 and Lautoka edged Hamilton 3-2.
- Meanwhile in other tournament, Labasa took out the annual golf event at Denarau.
- In snooker Shalend Raju (Tavua TIV) beat Rajesh Kumar (Suva TIV).
- In the Maathar (women wing) Sangam, Ba defeated Papatoetoe in the Super Premier netball final.
- Banaras beat Rifle Range in the Premier netball final and in the volleyball final Labasa defeated Rakiraki.
