Renowned South African devotional singer Preven Moodley says he is looking forward to performing at the Bhakti Kirtan Sandhya Nite fundraising event at King Charles Park in Nadi tomorrow.

The event is organised by the Fiji Community of California, with proceeds going to Treasure House Christian Children's Home and the Valelevu HART Nursing Home.

"I have officially arrived here on the beautiful island of Fiji, and we have a lot planned before the show," Mr Moodley said.

He said audiences could expect an evening of bhajans and kirtans dedicated to Mata Kali, Mata Mariam and other devis, performed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Bhojpuri.

"There is a beautiful line-up ahead of you," he said.

Mr Moodley said he would be joined by a host of local musicians.

"Please get your tickets as soon as possible, and I really look forward to seeing you there. I'm happy to be here on this beautiful island and hope to meet you at the show," he said.

Fiji Community of California secretary Nitin Chand said the event was a community fundraising initiative.

"All proceeds from the event will be donated to Treasure House Christian Children's Home and Valelevu HART Nursing Home," he said.
