Raju’s Restaurant opens in Lautoka

The people of Lautoka can now enjoy the much-loved flavours of Raju’s Restaurant as the popular Nadi-based eatery officially opens its newest branch in the Sugar City.

Located on Vakabale Street, directly opposite the Lautoka Bus Station, the new restaurant marks the third outlet for directors Aznal Hussein and Shalvin Raju, following the success of their restaurants in Nadi Town and Namaka.

The new venture represents an investment of approximately $85,000 and is part of the company’s vision to expand its footprint across Fiji while continuing to serve quality meals at prices affordable to everyday families. Mr Hussein said the decision to establish a branch in Lautoka came after numerous requests from customers.

“Many people kept telling us to open a restaurant in Lautoka, so we decided to give it a try,” he said.

“Our success has always come down to two things – good food and affordable prices.

“We believe everyone should be able to enjoy a delicious meal without spending too much.”

Raju’s Restaurant offers a wide selection of authentic Indian curries and popular Chinese dishes, catering to a variety of tastes.

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant is rewarding its first 50 customers who spend $4 or more with a complimentary plate of palau.

The restaurant will also introduce a special evening menu from 6pm to 11pm, featuring Chinese cuisine, Asian dishes, pizzas and premium seafood, including lobster, crab and seafood platters available on special order.

Mr Hussein said the response from Lautoka residents had already been overwhelming.

“We’ve had so many people looking through the windows and asking when we’re opening. The excitement has been incredible.”

He invites everyone in Lautoka and surrounding areas to visit the new restaurant.

“We welcome everyone to come in, try our food and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help us continue improving and serving the community even better,” he said.
