The man who allegedly killed Nadi medical doctor, Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya, was denied bail by the High Court in Lautoka yesterday.

Justice Aruna Aluthge further remanded Ratu Peceli Rokoravolo, 37, who is charged with one count of murder.

The court heard that between August 31 and September 1, Dr Biumaitotoya—fondly known as Leighley Darling—was allegedly murdered by Rokoravolo.

He was represented by Unaisi Baleilevuka, while Michelle Lomaloma appeared for the State prosecution.

Ms Lomaloma informed the court that further disclosure information would be filed on Friday.

The case was adjourned to November 19.
