Senior Corrections officer charged with criminal intimidation
The senior officer is expected to appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

A senior officer of the Fiji Corrections Service has been charged and is expected to appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Police confirmed that following consultations with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the officer has been charged with one count of criminal intimidation.
Police had earlier confirmed that the incident allegedly occurred in July 2025, when the executive is said to have threatened a member of his support staff.

A formal complaint was later lodged by the victim at the CID headquarters, prompting the investigation.
No further details have been released as investigations continue.
