Police are investigating the death of a 12-year-old boy whose body was discovered near his home in Wailoku, a day after he was reported missing.
The boy was last seen playing at a neighbour’s home on Wednesday evening but failed to return home, prompting his mother to report him missing to Police.
At around midday yesterday, his body was found near the family’s home.

A 29-year-old man is in Police custody in relation to the incident.
