Boarders at Adi Cakobau School (ACS) were treated to an inspirational chat with the Minister of Education, Heritage and Arts, Premila Kumar on Wednesday night.
The Minister spent time with the girls and talked about the importance of education, remaining focused, and perseverance.
“There is a constant struggle to change the perception of many that girls should not, or cannot, do many things that boys can. It is sad that in this day and age, many women in the workplace still encounter unfair treatment, bullying, and contempt, but this must not distract you,” said the Minister.
