Chief Justice Anthony Gates has labelled a news article by media company, Islands Business, that Magistrate Andrew See’s contract was terminated as ‘mischievous’.
Islands Business published on their website that Magistrate See’s contract was terminated three weeks after he presided over the Air Terminal Services dispute.
“Islands Business has been tipped off that Magistrate See’s contract has been terminated, three weeks after he ruled in favour of the employees,” the company published.
Related stories
Chief Justice Gates rubbished this claim. He confirmed that Magistrate See’s contract was renewed last year and is neither up for renewal yet nor has been terminated.
He said that this seemed like another Fake News, which has been published for reasons best known to the inventor of the False News.
