Resort donates beds to school
The initiative followed the resort being informed that the hostel needed new beds. A team from Radisson Blu Resort Fiji later visited the school to assess the situation and determine how best they could support the students.

Ratu Kadavulevu School’s (RKS) students of Cakau House hostel will now have improved sleeping arrangements following a donation of 10 double bunk beds from Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island.
The donation, valued at an undisclosed amount, will provide beds for 20 students living in the hostel while attending school away from their families.
The initiative followed the resort being informed that the hostel needed new beds. A team from Radisson Blu Resort Fiji later visited the school to assess the situation and determine how best they could support the students.

RKS principal Joseva Jale thanked the resort management and team for their generous contribution.
“We have waited a long time for assistance, and today our prayers have finally been answered,” Mr Jale said.
“The children will now enjoy comfortable sleep, allowing them to focus better in class and dream bigger. We are truly grateful for this thoughtful donation.”
Radisson Blu Resort Fiji front office manager Nikotimasi Delai said the donation reflected the resort’s commitment to supporting communities in where it operates.
“Our message is simple, but important: The comfort and health of our students matter,” Mr Delai said.
“A clear mind starts with a restful body. Many of these students live far away from their families while pursuing their education. We hope these beds will provide not only comfort, but also support their health, wellbeing, and ability to succeed in school.”
