Six missing at sea rescued
Two boats completed the journey, but concern grew when the third boat, carrying the six men, failed to arrive.

Six men reported missing at sea in the Lau Group have been found safe between Vanuavatu and Moala.
The Republic of Fiji Navy confirmed the men were located today after they failed to reach their destination.
Initial reports indicated that three fibreglass boats left Namuka Island yesterday morning.

Family member Benjamin Biutiviti confirmed to the Fiji Sun that the men had been found.
“They have been found alive,” Mr Biutiviti said.
The Navy said the men were found between Vanuavatu and Moala.
