Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has signalled that Francis Pulewai is unlikely to return to her former role as acting Deputy Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) any time soon.

Mr Rabuka said Ms Pulewai’s conduct following the Commission of Inquiry (COI) into FICAC has cast serious doubts over her suitability for the role.

“At the moment, her post-CoI comments and actions bring to doubt her suitability of the post,” he said yesterday.

Ms Pulewai had formally requested reinstatement to her FICAC post, along with compensation for the period she was away from the organisation.
