Maroons stay positive despite losses

The Khelvin Civil Engineering Lautoka rugby team is determined to do well in the Skipper Cup competition despite losing their two games.

Lautoka team manager Apimeleki Vota said they had fielded several new players, who are now gaining valuable experience.

“The new players were selected from the club games,” he said.

“I am grateful that they have been given the opportunity to play for Lautoka.”

Vota said the two losses in the competition has not changed their goals for the season.

This Saturday, they host Naitasiri at Churchill Park (ground 3).
