The Raiwaqa Youth Volleyball Association's (RYVA) Open Interlane competition starts tomorrow.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, RYVA president Kini Tamanitoakula said the competition aims to help them reintegrate with the Fiji Volleyball Federation (FVF).

"The competition we are preparing for this week is part of our effort to get ourselves back into the Fiji Volleyball Federation, just like before," she said.

Tamanitoakula added that they have already been running their weekly competitions.

"We started two weeks ago. We had one last week and another the previous week, and this will be our third week," she said.

There are currently 10 teams registered in the competition.

"For this week's tournament, we've got 10 teams so far these are all men's teams at the moment," she said.

Tamanitoakula encouraged voleyball fans to come out and support the event.

"We invite all volleyball enthusiasts to come down to the Lomani Koro Court on Friday and Saturday to support the teams participating in the competition," she said.

Teams interested in joining the competition are reminded that registration closes today.

The registration fee is $50 per team. The winning team pockets $500 while the runners-up get $200.
