At Naviavia, a community descended from Solomon Islanders is facing rising waters, eroding land and an uncertain future — while fighting to protect the place they call home.

She said Pacific youth needed to be present in negotiation rooms to share their experiences and raise the concerns of communities affected by climate change.

She called for more Pacific youth to be included in national delegations and given opportunities to speak at international climate meetings.
