A former retail banking professional has marked a major milestone, completing her Bachelor of Laws and now pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

Priscilla Kaajal Raniga, who began her career in banking, is transitioning into the legal field with renewed purpose after years of personal growth and reflection.

Born and raised in Ba by her mother, Virisila Singh, Ms Raniga is the eldest of four siblings and attended Kamil Muslim College and DAV Primary School.

Her journey reflects a shift from finance to law, built on discipline, precision and a clear sense of direction.

She described her achievement as a moment shaped by purpose rather than struggle.

She also paid tribute to those who supported her along the way.

“To my incredible brother Stanley Raniga, my constant from day one — your belief in me has been my greatest strength. To my sister-in-law Catherine, your unwavering support made all the difference,” said Mr Raniga.

“To my mum, baby brothers Richard and David, and my nieces Aanya, Natanya, Mahia, and Ahana — your love and encouragement carried me through.”

She also acknowledged her extended family.

“Above all, I give thanks to Jehovah God — for His direction, strength, and guidance. Without Him, none of this would have been possible,” she said.

“My sincere appreciation to my incredible daughter, whose guidance, wisdom and hard work has shaped in her journey.”
