Police are investigating an alleged assault after a video showing a woman suddenly attacking a 20-year-old female student sitting in front of her in a bus travelling from Laucala Bay to the Suva Bus Station on Monday.

The video showed the woman seated behind the victim pull the university student’s hair before passengers jumped in to confront the woman.

The attacker was involved in a heated verbal exchange with other passengers while moving to the front of the moving bus.
She then allegedly shoved a female high school student from her seat before getting off the bus. Police confirmed receiving a report with investigations continuing.
