Police are investigating an alleged assault after a video showing a woman attacking a 20-year-old university student on a bus travelling from Laucala Bay to the Suva Bus Station on Monday was widely shared on social media.
The incident was captured by a security camera installed inside the bus and later circulated on Facebook.
The footage appears to show the woman, who was seated behind the student, pulling her hair before other passengers intervened.

The woman was then involved in a heated verbal exchange with passengers as she moved to the front of the moving bus.
The footage also appears to show her pushing a female high school student from her seat before getting off the bus.
Police confirmed they had received a report and said investigations were continuing.
