Stationery donation gives Tagaqe students a strong start to the school year

Students of Tagaqe District School on the Coral Coast began the new academic year fully equipped for learning, following a stationery donation from Epic International Pte Ltd.
The Maui Bay–based company provided essential supplies to students from kindergarten to Year Eight, continuing its support for education in the district.
Epic International directors Craig and Evette de la Mare reaffirmed the company’s commitment to community development, particularly in education.

“Education is the foundation of progress. Every child deserves access to the basic tools they need to learn, grow and succeed,” Mr de la Mare said.
“Supporting young learners and investing in the next generation is something we care deeply about, and we are pleased to stand alongside Tagaqe District School in this initiative.”
The donation included notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers and other classroom essentials, and was presented by the company’s general manager, Vijay Achari.
School head teacher Ifiremi Torosi, together with teachers and parents, welcomed the timely support.
“This contribution will ease the financial pressure on families and help students focus fully on their education,” Mr Torosi said.
He added that the donation would also complement assistance received by parents through the Government’s $200 Back-to-School grant for the 2026 school year.
