Weather set to improve from tomorrow as trough moves away: Fiji Met

Weather conditions across Fiji are expected to gradually improve from tomorrow as the active trough of low pressure slowly drifts southwards away from the country, the Fiji Meteorological Service says.

In an update this afternoon, the national weather office said rainfall would begin to ease and gradually clear, with a noticeable improvement in conditions expected across the group.

By Thursday, the return of the typical southeasterly trade winds is forecast to bring more stable and drier weather.

However, during the transition period, some areas may still experience occasional showers.

The Fiji Meteorological Service is advising the public to continue monitoring the latest forecasts and official advisories.
