Semi Dauloloma wants ‘heavyweight elimination’

Veteran heavyweight boxer James Singh must first fight Joseph Kwadjo (in an elimination bout) with the winner to challenge Semi Dauloloma for the Fiji title.
This was gist of Dauloloma’s statement on social media as he replied to Singh and Kwadjo’s open challenge at the Vodafone Arena, Suva, on July 25.
“James has been kissing the floor in most of his fights and he lost to Sainivalati Ratu in his last fight,” he stated on social media.

“If they want to challenge the title, James has got to fight Kwadjo first and I’ll fight the winner.”
According to BoxRec, Dauloloma and Singh has fought four times- Singh winning their first encounter while Dauloloma won the second and fourth fights. Their third fight was declared a no contest.
“I’ve no interest in fighting James again,” Dauloloma added.
The Ba-based boxer apologised to fans on his performance as he scored a points win over Ratu in Suva.
He has a professional record of 5 wins, 1 loss and 1 no contest.
“I injured my hand but did not inform my trainer you would stop me from fighting. That was why I held back my punches.
“I apologise to the fans who had come over to watch the fight,” Dauloloma added.
